Waiting Children - Bulgaria

Gladney Center for Adoption (Gladney) is approved to post some non-identifying information of children waiting in the country programs that work in. This information presented by the country's Central Authority and/or Gladney’s Foreign Supervised Providers. The information is provided by independent third parties, including foreign government agents, orphanage staff, and/or others. Gladney cannot offer medical advice as to the health or conditions of the children. Interested families ARE REQUIRED to consult with a medical specialist to fully understand a child's special need AND PROGNOSIS. Gladney does not guarantee the translated accuracy of medical information.

The Prospective Adoptive Parent form must be completed before Gladney staff can discuss a specific child with an interested, qualified adoptive family. This form ensures that a family meets the basic criteria to adopt from a particular country. *NOTE: Meeting the basic criteria and having a current, valid home study, is not a guarantee in and of itself that Gladney or the specific country’s Central Authority will approve your family to adopt.

By reviewing the waiting children, you agree to the following:

- to treat each child with dignity and to always act in the best interests of the child, in accordance with Gladney’s Mission Statement.

- to regard all photographs, videos and information about each child as highly confidential. Information will not be copied, forwarded, or shared with anyone without the express permission of Gladney.

- to not post any harmful or damaging comments about any waiting child on public websites, social media sites, or other media channels.

Gladney Center for Adoption may discontinue its relationship with any person who does not abide by the above restrictions. For adoptive families, this will unconditionally result in a discontinuation of the adoption process, and any fees paid will not be refundable. Gladney, at its discretion, may initiate legal action against any person for breach of confidentiality.
