Michelle “Shelly” Conner joined Madison Adoption Associates in July 2015 as a Social Worker. Shelly was adopted, domestically, at birth and has been truly blessed by her adoption experience. She loves helping families come together through the adoption process.
Shelly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Culver-Stockton College. After working in social services for several years, Shelly returned to school and received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Illinois in 2003. Shelly has worked for Chaddock in their residential treatment and foster care/adoption programs, Catholic Charities in foster care and adoptions, Sojourn Shelter and Services, as a supervisor for court advocates, and the Department of Children and Family Services as an investigator. After working from home for several years, she decided to return to adoption. Shelly has worked as an International Adoption Specialist with the Colombia program and recently with the local schools in truancy.
Shelly is happily married to her husband, Shawn, and they are the proud parents of Abbey, Grace, and Mia.
