MAA is thrilled to be newly licensed to complete adoptions in Ecuador. There are primarily children ages six and up in need of adoption, though there are also some younger children with more complex needs or who are part of a sibling group with older children. Families may be matched with a specific waiting child, or submit their dossier and wait to receive a referral from the Ecuadorian Central Authority.
If you are interested in this program, we invite you to contact Misty Lucas (Misty@MadisonAdoption.org) to discuss your individual situation or inquire about current children available for adoption.
Adoption between the United States and Ecuador is governed by the Hague Adoption Convention. Ecuador is party to the Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption. Therefore, all adoptions between Ecuador and the United States must meet the requirements of the Convention and U.S. law implementing the Convention.
Once you have decided to adopt from Ecuador.…
The staff at Madison Adoption Associates will guide you through every step of the process. We will answer your questions, help you prepare and complete your paperwork, provide support and encouragement, and assist you with your travel arrangements. It is important to begin your Home Study and the USCIS Immigration Forms as soon as possible because they generally take up to six months to complete.
