Post Adoption Support Specialist
Adriana was born in Colombia where she earned a Bachelor degree in Psychology on Psychological Evaluation of Children and a Masters in Clinical and Family Psychology. Adoption has been her passion since she started working at a very well-known nonprofit organization in Colombia. During her 20 years of work in the organization, she managed to create the Psychology / Counseling Department and was able to work with kids in foster care, biological parents , adoptive families and adoptees. Her joining MAA as the Hosting Program Coordinator and now, as part of the post adoption support team, has allowed her to continue to serve families and children.
Adriana and her sons, Simon and Pablo, relocated to South Florida from Colombia after her husband, Sergio, was transferred by the company he works for. She is excited to join the Madison Adoption Associates team counseling and guiding children and families post adoption.
