Madison Adoption Associates (“MAA”) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency and earned full Hague Accreditation in November 2008. We work with families throughout the United States to place children for adoption. We are also licensed to perform home studies and post placements in Delaware, Illinois, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
Our agency began with a mother’s love and desire to raise an adoptive family. Today, although we still operate as a smaller agency, our efforts over the last 30 years have resulted in more than 1000 children knowing the joy of belonging to a loving family. Madison Adoption Associates is committed to our purpose of helping as many children as possible who need a home and hope for the future. History:
Madison Adoption Associates began placing children in 1981. We are both knowledgeable and experienced. Over the years, Madison has helped bring home children from all over the world, including China, Philippines, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Estonia, Romania, Guatemala, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Chile, Peru, and Japan. We have also completed adoption placements in the United States. Currently, we are working with clients who are adopting through China, Philippines, Bulgaria and the United States, and we are completing approximately 100 adoption placements per year.
Adoption, specifically older children and children with special needs, is truly our passion. Our organization is proud of what has been accomplished over our years of operation. We are known for going above and beyond what is required to make each adoption successful. Madison Adoption Associates works diligently to provide an exceptional level of service to our adoption clients. We take great pride in our professional reputation and in being ethical in all aspects of adoption service.

Our Passion for Helping Children:
The priority, mission and goal of MAA is to help the most vulnerable children in need! Although each and every child is important to us, we feel compelled to help the older children and children with specials needs. This can often be a very difficult task. Luckily, we have a great team who are committed to finding forever families for these children. This is not a just a job that we do for just a few hours each day. Our staff is constantly thinking of the children and what more we can do to make sure they have a family. Serving children is our passion and we work tirelessly to help as many as possible.
Many international partner organizations have stated that they are moved by our dedication to placing these children. MAA started the “Bright Futures” Program in order to bring attention to older children or children with more profound medical needs. The Bright Futures Program has placed many children who have been waiting years for a family of their own. Our partner orphanages are overjoyed with how many older children are now happy, and in loving families due to our efforts!
MAA also has the passion and ability to improve the conditions and help children who will not be adopted due to age or medical condition. We realize that the children that suffer the most serious diseases and disabilities most likely will not have the opportunity to come abroad to be adopted. Our vow is to help make the life conditions of these vulnerable children as productive, comfortable and as pleasant as possible.

Recognizing MAA’s commitment to children, China’s Governmental Central Authority (CCCWA) rated MAA the #2 agency in the world. We are extremely proud of all we have accomplished and are working hard to help children. We are also very proud of the relationship that we have with our partners abroad and that they consider us a vital part of their adoption program. We will continue to work hard and strive to grow and improve. We take our commitment to serving the best interests of all children very seriously.
